Ohhh-Wiiiiite! back to bloggin again. It's been a little while, but I finally got my rear in gear to keep writing this literary toilet paper with such awful awful jokes (have pity).
So here's the deal, I'm a guy right? (Rhetorical question....grrr) That usually means I don't really carry around a camera as much as I'd like to get those precious moments on film. However, I do have a few moments caught on film, and I'll give you a little tid bit. First off, here's my Halloween Costume from 2003 (on your left). Now we can see from astonishingly hip outfit I'm wearing, that I was the belle of the ball wherever I went. I tell ya, the ladies just can't resist the nerds! (if you believe that...well then you'd be wrong in my case). What isn't shown in the picture is the accessories that "Dave, the Omega Nerd" packs. DtON comes fully equiped with fully stocked pocket protector, supercharged suspendors, gargantuanly thick glasses, bad-ass bowtie, shit eating grin, poor grooming habits, and Karate chop action.
This outfit was just the inner me coming out eh? OH WAIT, I think it's just me right!? cause I'm a huge computer science nerd?!? Byte Me! har har! (how many exclamitories can I put in a row?)
Well I guess that comes to my next "Costume" although it wasn't worn on Halloween it may as well have been.
Cool man Dave comes equiped with a near full outfit from his much more stylish brother. Cool man Dave also comes equiped with poorly groomed goatee, partially untucked blue button down, shades at night time, and point-at-you-cause-I'm-a-poser stance. This product is for ages 18 and older. Basically, this outfit was worn in a particular instance of a New Years Eve/Day Dinner. It was a good dinner, and I think everyone enjoys dressing up a little. But it's just me trying to be some supa-suave chachi. Either way, it's an interesting spectacle.
So what's left really? Quick update of the weekend I guess? Friday was hanging out at the APT with Laura, Danielle, and their friend (Katey I believe it is). It was really good times, and great to see them again.
Next came saturday. It was a good day, mostly filled with going to visit Laura at Home Depot as I was doing my errands for the day, ya know..Best Buy, Cell Phone place. The good stuff in life. Either way, it ends up that I go see this movie "Alone in the Dark". Wow...I've seen some stupid movies in my day, but this was just waaaaay off the mark. It's taken from an Atari video games that was eventually ported to the Dreamcast. I think the director took his best actor "Plot" and beat him senseless to get the secret missle code or something, because the Plot was in fact, senseless. Also Christian Slater was the star...somewhere there's a voice telling me "You shoulda known right there that something was screwed up. After that debacle of a movie, I enjoyed bowling with a lot of good friends and great times were had by all (I think). Other than that, I think I'm gonna retire this blog entry so I can save some things for the future.
"Watch out for the medallion my diamonds are reckless, it feels like a midget is hanging from my necklace!"
Goodnight!
