I wrote a huge post...and decided not to publish it, because it contained emotion, and that's rule #1 about online journals.

no emotions.

I'll leave it at this, today was a dark day, a lot of anger and frustration definatly came out whilst I was at work. (given a good amount was cause by someone here shipping over 200 evergreen christmas trees via UPS to Rhode Island, and Connecticut)

lemme tell ya...tree's aren't the lightest of things to pick up and stack 9ft up on a wall.

Ok, I'm gonna go do something else now, I don't like mentally satisfying myself by talking to a god damn text box anymore.

I'll be chipper later. for now, it's time to read so mo-fuggin Harry Potter!

(p.s. I dunno if you read this ever Karried, but whenever I pick up my Harry Potter books, I think of you, because of the Maine trip...it makes me smile).

Alright, I watched I heart huckabees for the first time yesterday, and it was really good on a deeper level, and even had some funny parts for the superficial. I'd like to start this entry off with this question:

Well? what's our answer to that ya know? or more importantly...what's your answer? It is so apparent that most of us never really question ourselves until we get hit with that emotional bomb that shakes up our notched little existance eh? It's a difficult question, and I think if you're reading this you should take a second to ask yourself that question and really really answer it.

or you can just go about your life waiting for the bomb.

whateva. I just thought it perhaps help form a more lucent existance.

Right now I'm watching a bunch of special features from the movie Miracle, which I love. I was never a HUGE hockey fan...I liked it, and played the video games, but I never practiced enought to be a proficient enough skater to play. I don't even know if I'd want to play...but still, they make it look like so much fun on the big screen. It's the same calibur movie as Remember the Titans, however...Denzel Washington > Kurt Russel, so don't expect any amazing amazing performances like Coach Boone style. but still. Watch it sometime, it's a feel good movie...and it's exciting.

Alright Folks...here the deal:

  • The Question: How many 5th Graders could you take on at once?

    The specifics:

    - You are in an enclosed area, roughly the size of a basketball court. There are no foreign objects.
    - You are not allowed to touch a wall.
    - When you are knocked unconscious, you lose. When they are all knocked unconscious, they lose. Once a kid is knocked unconscious, that kid is "out."
    - I (or someone else intent on seeing to it you fail) get to choose the kids from a pool that is twice the size of your magic number. the pool will have no discernable abnormalities in terms of demographics, other than they are all healthy Americans. (if that infact exists)
    - the kids are same gender as yourself
    - The kids are motivated enough to not get scared, regardless of the bloodshed. Even the very last one will give it his/her best to take you down.

We had a big discussion at the apartment today, about how many each person thought they could actually take down. I want you guys out there in Internet land to give me one honest answer, after that...make up all the funny stuff you want about whomping fifth graders. (This is in no way going to be thrown in anyone's face, unless you honestly think you can defeat a nation of kids in hand-to-hand combat)

I dunno, it was a long conversation, I didn't want to insult anyone's fighting ability, it's just the fact that fighting any more than 2 people is exponentially harder, and that's not even mentioning the endurance needed to knock them out. Personally, I think I could MAYBE take 5 kids at once, if I was really quick and really powerful that day. anymore than that, and I'd definatly be on the ground getting stomped and kicked by some angry soccer kids, and I think that might look bad on a resumé.

Anyway, I have a dentist appointment at 10am today...fantastic.

I dunno, that stuff's pretty lame I'll leave you with an image I made in 3 seconds to think about as you ponder how many 5th graders you could dominate
